We found our beautiful and loving kitty with Sharon in late October, 2021. It was immediately obvious upon bringing him home just how much care and attention had been given to his training and socialization. Our kitten was ready for his new home and immediately adapted to every scent, sound, and sight starting from the first steps out of his carrier. Sharon sees her role as much more than a simple breeder, but also as a foster parent who does a fantastic job preparing her kittens for their forever home. She clearly cares deeply about each and every one of the cats she ultimately sends away, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice to adopt ours. Daniel and Joshalynne
Thank you so much for my beautiful little boy! Reagan (Winston) is lovely in every way! I can tell he was raised with a lot of love!
Here is a picture of where he sleeps every night! He is so funny…he has a schedule that is like clockwork: 9pm he gets in between our pillows and sleeps until around 5-530, gets up, watches the squirrels through the window from about 6-730, takes a nap on the couch till noon, then plays with toys for 30 min and naps again until like 3 on the dogs bed. Never thought we could love an animal this much!
I met Sharon the owner of Imagine Cattery at a cat show in Denver. She was showing British Shorthairs and also had a long haired kitten. She explained that she was going to breed longhaired British cats and this was a kitten from a previous litter. She also let me hold this kitten-unusual at a cat show. We talked for a while and I told her that I was looking for another cat for my family. I put my name on her list to notify when more kittens became available.
Months later I got a call from Sharon and went to see four long haired kittens that were available to be adopted. She thought that a female kitten would be the best match with my year and a half old Persian male.
I chose a female black and silver classic tabby. She has been a great match with my male cat and with me. The cats get along so well-they use the same litter box (she covers his feces) and chase each other and wrestle. I have never heard a growl, cry or whimper out of either of them, so I assume they are not fighting, just playing. She is not a lap cat, but has settled in my lap several times for a nap. She always sleeps in my bed and licks my arm. She is very curious and playful and she doesn’t meow but has a tiny trill when she talks. She is very gentle and has never bitten or scratched me. She doesn’t require much care, but since I comb my Persian every other day, I also comb her. I also clean out both cats’ eyes since they have ocular discharge due to their head shape.
I would certainly love to have more cats, but must stop at two. I would recommend Imagine Cattery to anyone who is looking for a British Shorthair or Longhair.
While in pursuit for a British Shorthair kitten, I had the good fortune of coming across Sharon at Imagine Cattery. I was also fortunate to have a choice between one of Sharon’s kittens, and a kitten from another very expert well regarded breeder. Living 1,800 miles from Sharon, I did not have the opportunity to meet her or her kittens. After my first (of many) phone calls with Sharon, I immediately had a tremendous sense of trust in her knowledge of the breed standard, and more importantly, her obvious love and understanding of her cats and kittens. It was very clear to me that this was not a business, but rather a passion. Sharon hand raises these beautiful kittens with kindness and love in her home as a part of her family. It was also apparent how very nurturing she is, as she guided me in the selection of a kitten best suited to me. I have had cats for 35 years, and this little kitty Milo is truly a gem. He came to me very confident, affectionate, and of course beautiful. He is truly a family pet having won my husband’s heart as much as mine. Although our dog is not a Milo fan, every day Milo gently shows him affection as well, and is winning him over as well. I also know Sharon is as happy as I, as it is equally important to her that her babies have a good home. I am so grateful to Sharon for the love and nurturing she provided Milo making him the great kitty he is, and Sharon will be in my heart forever.
My wife and I recently obtained our new male kitten, Pip, from Imagine Cattery. Pip is a delight in every way. Physically, he is an absolutely beautiful example of a classic British black and silver tabby. Pip is also incredibly healthy, well-tempered and affectionate. Sharon raises the kittens of Imagine Cattery with unconditional love and extraordinary daily attention to diet and health. These kittens receive the finest medical oversight and care throughout their kittenhood. They are also wonderfully socialized through living in a large, loving, neatly maintained home environment that exposes them to the family dogs, friends, and visiting grandchildren. They are exceptionally well-adjusted.
Because we live in some proximity to Loveland, we were able to visit Pip within 10-days of his birth. Sharon welcomed us into her home and we were able to visit and bond with Pip consistently over the 14 weeks or so before he came to live in our own home. We consider ourselves very fortunate in this and think that such an open and sharing approach is very rare among cat breeders or probably breeders of any sort.
I should also add that the genetic quality of Sharon’s dames and sires is extremely high. These are beautiful, healthy animals that produce offspring of great beauty. One of Sharon’s male breeders, Otis, was recently honored by being named the top British Black and Silver Tabby for 2019 by The International Cat Association (TICA). This is an extraordinary recognition by one of the world’s leading cat associations. Sharon is a fantastically caring woman and the kittens of Imagine Cattery are beautiful, lifelong treasures. Anyone interested in a British Shorthair or Longhair should make it a determined point to contact Imagine Cattery. You will never find a more ethical and loving breeder or kittens of greater beauty or loving temperament.
Piper is doing so well. She’s the best kitty I have ever had. She’s such a loving little girl! I am very thankful God put her in our care!
